Ahavat Yisrael

      The Ahavat Yisrael Committee is based in the foundations of our shul, to make Green Road Synagogue a welcoming and caring place for all Jews. We are committed to making a postive impact in the lives of our congregants, our community, and our Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel.

      We hope to accomplish our goals through the following subcommittees:

• Hospitality: Help welcome new residents and members to our community.
• Bikur Cholim: Visit people in their homes, hospitals, or nursing facilities.
• Meal Makers: Provide meals for new mothers, people recovering from illness, shiva houses,or during other times of need.
• Projects: Long-term and short-term projects, including ones in conjunction with other community organizations, and projects for Israel.
